Preschool Sites (Age 3-5)

Full Day/Full Year Option:
The full day program is for children ages 3 years to not yet old enough for kindergarten. Most centers are open from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for parents that are working, going to school, in job training or active job search. The centers are open year round to accommodate the family's specific needs. The emphasis is child focused. Parents are encouraged to volunteer whenever possible, attend monthly parent meetings and education sessions. Full day programs are offered in Valley Springs, Angels Camp, and San Andreas.

Part Day Option
The center-based program operates Monday through Friday, 3 ½ hours a day for children 3 years old to not yet old enough for kindergarten. The centers are open much like a traditional school year; they are closed for 2 ½ months in the summer. The emphasis is child focused to provide children with opportunities to participate in activities that are designed to meet their developing intellectual, social, emotional, physical, and creative needs. Parents are encouraged to volunteer whenever possible, and attend monthly parent meetings and education sessions. In some locations there is a choice of morning or afternoon sessions. The program has locations throughout the county.
