On behalf of the HRC Calaveras Head Start/State Preschool staff, the Human Resources Council, and members of the Parent Policy Council, we would like to welcome you to our program. If you or your children have never been a part of HRC Calaveras Head Start/State Preschool, you are in for a wonderful journey. If you have been involved with HRC Calaveras Head Start/State Preschool, you already know the benefits you and your family will have. One of the basic beliefs of our program is that parents are the first and most important teachers of their children. We recognize that you have the primary influence in your child's life. Our goal is to forge a true partnership with you. This partnership will help us provide the best quality programs and services to meet the needs of you and your family. It has been proven that parent involvement is key to children's success in school. You act as a positive role model by being involved in your child's education and activities. You are teaching your child that there is value in education, which in turn will help them to be successful in school. There are many opportunities for involvement in HRC Calaveras Head Start/State Preschool:
Our program is designed to offer opportunities to children, parents, and other family members. We can help with referral services, continuing education, goal setting, parenting, discipline, transitions, etc. We ask that parents take ownership of this program. You help us teach your children by being involved. HRC Calaveras Head Start/State Preschool is a great way to meet people, make friends, feel safe, and be supported.
